The additional amp helped to make my bass more round and full and the sound deadening material kept the sub boxes from vibrating against the metal flooring of the Jeep. The team applied hushmat material under the boxes with a small addition of vibration foam. I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com and this is my review and installation of the Amp Research PowerStep fitting all 2007 and up JKs. Today we're gonna talk about the construction, and of course, how you get these installed on your Jeep.

I just joined the family last week with my 2016 soft top JK, and love it! Now im not usually that hard on sound systems so i didnt do the upgraded speakers. I have been tooling around widows down etc. and trying to at least bump a little tunes and im a little disappointed. That being said Im considering a slight upgrade im not trying to spend to much and im not looking for a crazy good system.

Was wondering if anyone has upgraded their systems and is happy with it, or if anyone has input on these.

EDIT: Hey just wanted to thank everyone for their input. I replaced my soundbar so far with These and I can not be happier. Doing the front speakers tomorrow. I didnt add an amp or anything just plug and play and they sound great.
